Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride- 6/16/07

Saturday, June 16th, 2007, Montauk Point, NY Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride will be concluding their week long cross state marathon.

These resilient American Heroes will be riding their bicycles through Orient Point, Shelter Island, to Montauk before 4:30 p.m.

What can you do?:) If you are near by or can plan a trip out—plant yourself, family and friends along the route–post your flags, show your support, encouragement and American Pride and admiration as they drive by.

Wounded Warrior States: “The Greatest Casualty is to be forgotten.” Let’s get there or contact their site and let them know-we did not forget, nor will we take their service to protect and defend our country for-granted.

Speaking of not to forget– the bill for the increase funding was approved by the Senate Armed Forces Committee- T.B.I. – Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, s for the Wounded Warriors of the Iraq war (what about those in O.E.F.??–in Afghanistan??? what about our Veterans who have suffered and need help –this bill goes to the Senate now. (included in this bill-taking from the monies allotted–is for military base construction).

Agent Orange Still Haunts Vietnam — true–but what has been or can be done to help our Veterans who have suffered its effects and those of PTSD and neglect for all these years? (!)??

BZ!:) again to the Patriot Guard of New York–you guys are awesome!:) It was an honor meeting the Wounded Warriors and their family and friends from Soldier Ride. Thanks Charlene, Cousin Richard and Jeremy-you see more than most people.
