Protest May 3rd

There is going to be another protest May 3rd from 11 am - 3 pm. It is down at the Patchogue recruiting station. We show up and protest the protesters. Last time we were there, the people hung the American Flag upside down, gave us the Nazi salute and called us fascists. We are NOT pro-war but we support our troops and understand that sometimes, war is necessary. To hold an American flag upside down at a protest is such disrespect to the people who have served and are currently serving, protecting our liberties (including our right to be there in the first place!!!) People (on our side) showed up wearing Army/Navy etc. stuff, Amerian flag stuff, or came with signs. I’ll be honest with you, when Brian and I returned home that day, we both said how proud we felt to be there that day.
